Right from the start, we had a single concept that we really liked, it came to life through extensive sketching and a few handcrafted prototypes to confirm our idea was working. However, the most magical, captivating moments emerged during the design refinement process.

This journey led us to create just the right amount of space in the jewelry box drawer to hold the documents that come with our creations, along with discovering how to add a subtle visual cue that hints at what lies inside, even before the box is opened. 

We were amazed at how refining these small details we created some “petites merveilles” ([puh-teet mehr-vay], French "small wonders") - ideas waiting for you to uncover. Even after nine months of development, these details still fill us with excitement, and we can’t wait to share it with you.

Every piece of our packaging is handcrafted with care, and we’re especially proud that nearly ninety percent of our packaging items are sourced locally, all within a 100-kilometer radius of our studio. This approach lets us keep a close eye on every detail, from initial prototype to finished creation.

By choosing materials and manufacturers close to home, we’re able to test, refine, and perfect each element, ensuring that every piece meets our standards while reducing our carbon footprint. Working directly with small businesses, we get to know each craftsman personally, visiting their workshops and sharing in the creative process.

Supporting local artisans over factories deepens our connection to the people behind it, allowing us to confidently stand behind every decision. We’re thrilled with how this collaboration makes the packaging as intentional and beautifully crafted as the jewelry it holds.

Embossing is an art dating back to the Middle Ages, originally used in Europe to add texture and depth to leather book covers. We love bringing this timeless craft into our work, as it lends each piece a unique sense of elegance and substance. Every embossed detail begins with a custom mold, carefully crafted to capture the intricate design we envision. When we press or raise the design onto a surface by hand, it transforms the flat material into a beautiful, three-dimensional element that adds character and vitality to our creations.

Especially today, when most surfaces we encounter daily are smooth and uniform, embossing offers a rare, tactile experience that engages both touch and sight. Its raised surfaces turn the design into a physical object, bringing the art to life in a way that purely visual mediums cannot.

Inside the jewelry box lid, we created a dedicated compartment to securely hold the essential records of your AMULETHA™ creation - a vault for the treasured details accompanying your jewelry. This special space is designed to hold the Certificate of Authenticity - a passport verifying the origin of your creation - alongside the Client Care book, which is a brief guide to the world of AMULETHA™. 

Just as you keep your own passport safely at home, we created a dedicated place for your amulet’s passport, ensuring it’s protected and always close at hand.

This compartment was central to our jewelry box design, guiding its dimensions to conveniently house these essentials, like a safe for your most cherished items. If your piece came with a note from a loved one, it can be kept here too—a lasting memento to accompany your jewelry.

The Certificate of Authenticity is a vital document that guarantees your piece as a genuine AMULETHA™ creation. Each certificate is handwritten and stamped exclusively by our team, certifying the jewelry’s origin and authenticity. Within the Certificate, you’ll find detailed information about the materials used in your piece, including the type of metal and its karat value, as well as the specific types and carats of any gemstones.

This document is essential not only as proof of authenticity but also for warranty purposes - it must accompany the piece for the warranty to be valid. Acting as a passport for your jewelry, the Certificate of Authenticity reflects our commitment to craftsmanship, quality, and your confidence in the originality of your AMULETHA™ creation.

Each set includes a personal letter from us in our signature royal burgundy paper enclosure. Alongside our message to you, we’ve included a blank paper, ready for a personal note when gifting. 

To make crafting your note even easier, we’ve created the “Thoughts” section at the end of each symbol in the AMULETHA™ Book of Symbols, offering meaningful inspiration for your message. Draw from the symbolic meanings to create a personalized wish or sentiment that resonates deeply with the recipient. The protective box is full of thoughtful details to build your anticipation - each element is carefully assembled by hand in our studio. The handcrafted band around the box uses jewelry-making components, adding an extra touch to the continuity of our story. A silver amulet rests on top, offering a hint of the artistry within.
